Getting to Tembeling Natural Pool
Reaching the Tembling pool on Nusa Penida is possible by motorbike or foot. From the parking area, either get on the back of a motorbike for 10 minutes or walk for 30 minutes. A motorbike return trip should cost about 50000 IDR (3 USD) per person. The drive down is very steep and only recommended for experienced motorbike drivers.
Tip: Don’t forget to bring your swimsuit :)
From the motorbike stopping point, there is a concrete stair going down towards the natural pool and beach. This is an easy 5-minute walk down.
The sweet water pool has this glow because of the sun rays shining through the jungle leaves. Take off your shirt and take a refreshing dip.
Tembeling Beach
After the relaxing swim, walk all the way down towards the beach. This walk is another 5 minutes. The beach is a big rough beach where you can relax. Swimming is not really possible because of all the rocks and strong waves.
